I should have taken a picture of the large lobster in a cup outside of the restaurant but I didn’t want to step in the middle of the busy street to take the photo. Stepping into the restaurant you get the impression that you are in some boat. To me, the inside of the restaurant was how I would picture Mr. Howell’s boat to look like from Gilligan’s Island. Random fishes here and there, picture of old boats and our eating area was a nook in the corner with red leather. Just fantastic.

I have to apologize but I don’t quite remember what I got except for that it was tilapia. From my memory it was quite good because I can remember the distinct taste of the crust on the fish and I indeed finished eating it.

My father-in-law though got this beast of a dish. It was king crab legs with mounds of stuffing. It was big enough to have everyone at the table try some of it and him enjoying the majority of it. It was so delicious even Isaiah ate some. He rarely eats anything out of his comfort zone.

Overall, the restaurant was great from the aesthetics, the honey round ball of bread, to the generous portion of food and of course the taste.

We need to take you to Arthur Avenue if this is the best you have had.

I agree with Matt’s point about Arthur Ave – it’s the true Little Italy in NY. The one in Manhattan has turned into a tourist trap. And if you think that lasagna was good – wait until you try the Mama Capellini’s Famous Lasagna. I may be biased – but it’s the best I’ve ever had.

make that Mamma. And don’t tell her. She’ll smack me for misspelling my Italian

Best you’ve ever had? You have obviously never been to the place right across the street. You may have heard of it — Olive Garden. Sauces like they make in the Old Country.

And, Cap, I thought I noticed a hidden invitation somewhere in your comment.

I’m willing to try anything for the sake of eating “good food”. Can I meet mama cap?
