In-N-Out vs. Five Guys

Posted on April 23rd, 2009 in Food

There is something in the burger that makes the In-N-Out burger so tasty. The taste is just so clean and yummy and it’s so hard to explain that you have to try it just to experience for yourself what you think. This is my usual order. Two hamburgers with grilled onions and extra veggies. I just really like the texture that the extra veggies give. The Fries are good but you need to consume them within the first 30 minutes because after then, they just get all limp and not-so-tasty.

Since I’ve moved out here, everyone has asked me how does In-n-Out compare to Five Guys. They are both burgers but they are so distinctly different. Five guys is pretty damn good though. I love the fact that you can choose from a menu of condiments you could put in the burger. While the In-n-Out burger is clean and crisp, the Five guys burger just has more layers of taste because of the variety of stuff you can put in it.

Which one would I choose? I’d eat both at the same time if I could. Good burgers are just good burgers and you should never pass any of them up. My mouth is watering just thinking writing this post.
